OneNext 2025
Building the AI Continent Together
Defining the Open Technology Stack for Sovereign AI Factories & Gigafactories
NOVEMBER 12-13, 2025
MIX BRUSSELS, BELGIUM
What is OneNext 2025?
OneNext 2025 will bring together leading industry stakeholders driving the development of sovereign AI Factories. The event will explore the key challenges in building the next generation of open, decentralized AI Factories and Gigafactories, leveraging HPC, cloud, and edge infrastructure as a strategic alternative to proprietary hyperscaler solutions. Building on the legacy of the OpenNebulaCon series, the 2025 edition will focus on how open cloud technologies are powering sovereign cloud environments and enabling next-generation AI Factories at scale.
The agenda will span all layers of the technology stack, bringing together the industrial ecosystem of the IPCEI-CIS initiative, the AI Factory efforts within EuroHPC, and key stakeholders from the cloud and telecom sectors. The program will feature thematic panels with C-level executives, directors, and leading experts who are shaping the AI and cloud infrastructure landscape, aiming to generate actionable recommendations for both industry and public-sector stakeholders. A final report will consolidate the collective outcomes of the event, ensuring anonymity and avoiding direct attribution of individual contributions.

AGENDA HIGHLIGHTS
The event aims to address the critical need for a high-performance, distributed HPC-cloud-5G/edge continuum infrastructure that can support the growing demands of AI workloads and ultra-low-latency applications. We will discuss:
Scaling LLMs at Infrastructure Level
Challenges in the execution of large language models (LLMs) and AI frameworks at scale, including performance optimization, distributed deployment, data locality, and interoperability across heterogeneous infrastructure.
Cloud-Edge AI Architecture
Architectural directions required to build a scalable and diverse cloud-edge computing ecosystem, capable of supporting the full AI lifecycle—from training and fine-tuning to inference—at scale.
5G & AI Continuum Connectivity
Connectivity requirements across this continuum, including the role of 5G and advanced networking, to ensure seamless workload distribution and real-time processing.
Sovereign AI Orchestration
Core components of a software platform needed for the orchestration and monitoring of AI workloads across heterogeneous HPC, cloud, and edge environments, with an emphasis on strategic sovereignty across layers.
