About this Webinar
OpenNebula is evolving into a distributed cloud management platform that aggregates on-demand cloud resources across multiple edge locations to enable innovative and low-latency next-generation services. Its resource provisioning allows companies to automatically allocate and configure the physical resources needed to easily expand their private or hybrid cloud to the edge using bare-metal resources from providers like Equinix Metal (formerly known as Packet).
What to expect from this webinar?
- Learn about Equinix Metal’s architecture and global locations, and how it provides customers with on-demand access to bare-metal services to run their own workloads and support their edge computing deployments.
- Discover the new edge computing features that have been incorporated into OpenNebula’s latest version as part of the ONEedge initiative, and find out about the future developments to come in the following months.
- Watch a live demo on how to use OpenNebula to easily build a globally distributed cloud using Equinix Metal resources and to execute a container workflow from Docker Hub. As an example, we’ll show how to deploy multiple K3s clusters at the edge for multiplayer gaming.
This webinar will be presented by Michael Abdou (Customer Success Manager at OpenNebula) and Marco Mancini (Cloud Technical Evangelist at OpenNebula).
Our guest speaker for this webinar will be Jeremy Tanner (Developer Relations at Equinix).
