Accelerating AI Inference at the 5G Edge [Panel Discussion]

With the demand for real-time data processing and intelligent services continuing to grow, telco operators are seeking solutions that enable the deployment of edge infrastructure using shared accelerated hardware for both 5G vRAN and AI inference, while also supporting multi-tenancy. This AI-RAN infrastructure must offer a balance between the scalable performance needs of AI workloads and the specialized requirements of 5G networks, including precise synchronization, robust software integration, and high availability through redundancy.

The aim of this panel is to explore how the telecom industry is planning to support the deployment of next-generation AI services at the edge, enabling advanced use cases that leverage both 5G and AI infrastructures.
