What an amazing event we’ve had earlier today! 🤩 ONEedgeDay 2022 has been a great opportunity for us and many of our partners and members of the community to showcase some of the latest developments in the open source edge computing field and explain how they are using OpenNebula’s new ONEedge features.

The agenda had an engaging pace, with the opening offered by Ignacio M. Llorente (CEO of OpenNebula) and Ana Juan Ferrer (Programme Officer at the European Commission), who offered an interesting talk about the on-going and future EU’s research and innovation funding opportunities for disruptive technologies like edge computing.

We had the opportunity to talk about OpenNebula System’ achievements within the EU-funded ONEedge project given by our team of experts, followed by the showcase of a number of amazing use cases and integrations displayed by corporate users and technology partners of ours, and a final session on research and innovation with our friends from the GAIA-X Association 🇪🇺

This event has been undoubtedly relevant for CTOs, IT Infrastructure Managers, Cloud Administrators, and Solutions Architects interested in large-scale edge application deployments based on open source virtualization technologies and containerized applications.
