Introduction to Sovereign AI Factories: from Automated Deployment to LLM Inference
February 4, 2026 @ 5 pm CET / 11 am EST
Webinar Details
As organizations begin exploring AI Factories, many are looking for a clear and practical starting point: how to deploy GPU-ready infrastructure, run AI workloads efficiently, and maintain control over data and operations from day one.
This introductory webinar is designed to provide that starting point. It focuses on the fundamentals of Sovereign AI Factories and demonstrates how a simplified AI Factory can be built using OpenNebula. The session combines a high-level overview with hands-on demonstrations, making it suitable for teams that are early in their AI Factory journey.
Using OpenNebula, we will walk through the basic building blocks required to deploy an AI-ready environment and run real AI workloads on top of it.
What you’ll learn:
- AI Factory Basics: An introduction to the AI Factory concept, why sovereignty matters for AI workloads, and the key components of an AI-ready infrastructure.
- Automated Deployment of a Simplified AI Factory: A live demonstration of deploying a simplified, AI-ready OpenNebula environment on GPU hardware using OpenNebula’s AI Factory blueprints and automation tools.
- Running LLM Inference with vLLM: A live example of LLM inference running on GPUs using the vLLM appliance available in the OpenNebula Marketplace, showing how AI workloads can be served on top of a basic AI Factory setup.
- Design and Operational Takeaways: Practical guidance on how this simplified setup can be extended toward more advanced AI Factory architectures over time.
- Q&A Session: An open discussion to answer questions about AI Factory concepts, deployment options, and next steps for teams evaluating AI Factories.
This session will be hosted by Mladen Komac, Cloud & AI Solutions Architect at OpenNebula Systems, and Aleksejs Petrovs, Technical Trainer at OpenNebula Systems.
