Technology
This month, we introduced the OpenNebula “Bubble” 6.10.1 LTS Maintenance Release. This update brings key improvements like enhanced backup capacity checks, a new CLI option for listing disk snapshots, improved VM pool performance, and incremental backup support for Ceph users.
A newly published blog post dives into how OpenNebula empowers GPU-driven workloads. From maximizing performance with GPU passthrough to optimizing resources and cutting costs with NVIDIA vGPU technology, OpenNebula is your go-to solution for AI training, 3D rendering, gaming, and more.
📡 MESSAGE FROM THE ENGINEERING DECK
The team is working hard towards the next generation of OpenNebula, which will be making its first appearance in 7.0, scheduled for April 2025. However, do not fret! We'll be releasing some golden nuggets along the way. For instance, we're hard at work with OpenNebula AIOps (OneAIOps), a new component designed to enhance OpenNebula cloud operations. By leveraging AI/ML technologies, OneAIOps enables intelligent predictions and smart management of cloud resources.
