Technology

Hope you all had a nice summer break and got ready for the many novelties that we’ll be announcing in September! In August, while probably most of you were on holidays, our Engineering Team has been working very hard on the upcoming OpenNebula 6.2, which we are planning to launch very soon ⏱️ And stay tuned for new EE Maintenance and CE Patch releases for OpenNebula 6.0 “Mutara”, they are also on their way!

Community

This month we’ve been thinking about how to better support those Cloud Service Providers planning to adopt OpenNebula as their Cloud Management Platform. If that’s your case, here you have, for starters, a summary of the main features in OpenNebula that can help you take your CSP business to the next level 🚀 Many of you will be happy to hear that we are working on a new module for the popular billing platform WHMCS, that we’ll announce very soon!

Outreach

August is normally a quiet month in terms of events, so that’s why we’ve used these weeks to prepare the really amazing presentations that we’ll be delivering in September at, among others, DCD España 2021 and the Linux Foundation’s Open Source Summit. Time to sign up!

And speaking of events… remember that the 9th edition of our OpenNebulaConf has been rescheduled and will finally be taking place on March 24-25, 2022, in Brussels (Belgium) 😉

Food for thought

One of the good things about the Tech sector is that we never stop! So, if this year you’ve decided to take a proper (and I’m sure well-deserved) break and now you are feeling you might have missed something important, worry not, because here you have some interesting readings for you to quickly catch up. Enjoy! 🤓
