OpenNebula Has Achieved NVIDIA AI Cloud Ready Validation on NVIDIA GB200 NVL72, demonstrating an integrated architecture for production-scale AI infrastructure. The solution brings together bare-metal infrastructure, virtualization, Kubernetes, HPC, and multi-tenancy under a common OpenNebula cloud management layer, providing a foundation for flexible, multi-tenant AI Factories and NVIDIA Cloud Partner environments.
OpenNebula 7.4.2 Is in Development: We’re working on the next maintenance release, bringing several improvements, including Ceph support in OneBEX. This expands OneBEX backup capabilities to Ceph-backed environments and enables compatibility with Veeam for these workloads.
Easy OpenNebula Deployment with miniONE: miniONE simplifies OpenNebula deployment by automating the setup of a ready-to-use environment, with networking, authentication, and a default VM template included.
Running SAP Workloads on OpenNebula: The SAP-enabled Enterprise Cloud Cluster blueprint provides reusable VM templates optimized for performance-sensitive SAP workloads, with CPU pinning, NUMA locality, hugepages, high-performance storage, and networking.
Kubernetes with Kubespray and Terraform: Kubespray’s Terraform workflow now supports OpenNebula, enabling automated Kubernetes deployments with Infrastructure as Code, including highly available control planes, node anti-affinity, and additional storage.
