This month, we released two important maintenance updates: the OpenNebula “Archeon” 6.4.7, LTS Maintenance Release, featuring QCOW2 disk resizing with snapshots, and OpenNebula “Bubble” 6.10.2, LTS Maintenance Release, introducing VLAN filtering support for Linux bridge drivers. Both updates bring significant enhancements to security and improvements to the user experience in OpenNebula Enterprise.

What better way to finish 2024 than working on two new exciting features for OpenNebula? We are very close to releasing the first version of AIOps, a component that will apply the power of AI methods to the mapping of virtual resources to physical resources. Moreover, Sunstone is getting its share of love with a new Micro-frontend architecture that will enable a myriad of new use cases and improvements in the user experience.
