This month has been packed with exciting updates. The highlight is the beta release of OpenNebula 6.10 “Bubble”, which boasts improved backup features, enhanced support for GPUs and vGPUs, and the modernized, fully-featured GUI, FireEdge Sunstone, which definitely deserves special attention.

📡 MESSAGE FROM THE ENGINEERING DECK
6.10 is coming out from the OpenNebula development team forge, hot and steaming! A LOT of novelties are present in this release, as we are moving to a KVM focused approach. And of course, FireEdge Sunstone is coming of age in this new 6.10 release, codenamed Bubble :)

Among other noteworthy tech news are a how-to guide on managing quotas in OpenNebula, the upgraded migration tool OneSwap 1.2, and the addition of the first open source object storage appliance, MinIO, which customers and users can now easily install from our marketplace. Moreover, the hot topic this month is the fresh pricing comparison review between Broadcom VMware and OpenNebula Systems. If you’re considering migration and exploring your options, you don’t want to miss this.
