As many of you already know, OpenNebula 6.0 “Mutara” brought along a new WebUI tool for the easy provisioning of Edge Clusters on remote infrastructure resources from Public Cloud and Edge providers: FireEdge. This powerful tool is based on our new Provider Catalog, a collection of connectors that we’ll keep improving and expanding in the near future, so that our users can enjoy an increasingly diverse set of alternatives and get the most out of the intrinsic heterogeneity of the edge—isn’t that a fancy term right there? 😜
A few days ago we announced the release of our latest versions, EE 6.0.2 and CE 126.96.36.199. Now, those OpenNebula users interested in setting up a multi-cloud environment or in deploying an edge cloud on demand can do that by using virtual resources from Google Cloud! Watch this new screencast to discover how easy it is to expand your OpenNebula cloud with GCP 🚀 Enjoy!
